It’s been an exciting week for us over here! If you don’t follow me on instagram then you may not have heard that our next big project is going to be new flooring on our entire main level. I am BEYOND excited. It’s going to make such a huge difference for our home and is going to lead to a few room makeovers too which will help the main level mesh with the rest of the house.
I’ll be sharing lots of posts along the way taking you guys along for the ride as we undergo this renovation. We’re going to be installing wood look tile -since my FIL lays tile for a living, labor is one less thing we’d have to pay for. Plus we love the look and durability of it after using it in our bedroom and Hawk’s room.
We’ve selected the color/style we like, now we just have to figure out when all of this is happening ha. I think we may need to have a garage sale before we start, to help get rid of some of the stuff we have. Most of the decor on the main level is still my FIL’s so we need to figure out where all of that is going to go.

We’ve got a fun weekend ahead, laying low tonight then we’re playing in a bocce tournament tomorrow and our church picnic sunday. Hope you’ve all got some fun things planned!
