Is there one type of home decor that you’re drawn to the most? Maybe pillows or candles or trays? For me, it’s ceramics. I can’t get enough and I’ve been seriously swooning over it all lately. So I thought I’d share some ceramic home decor I can’t get enough of right now!
MY FAVORITE CERAMIC HOME DECOR
There’s just something about the character and imperfections from something handmade like pottery and ceramics. You can look at it and imagine the story behind the maker and all the work that went into creating something so beautiful.
CERAMIC BELLS
These have been popping up a lot lately and I just love how they look hanging on the wall in a pair. I recently purchased some from Goodwin and it looks like they don’t have them anymore but Etsy has so many options!

CERAMIC DINNERWARE
This can get expensive real quick if you’re looking to replace all your dishes like we were. With everything being handmade, you’ll definitely have to pay the price but there are some affordable options too. The plates and bowls we registered for for our wedding over 5 years ago just didn’t fit our style anymore. Ok, my style. Dan could care less ha.
They were floral and while beautiful, just not what I was into anymore. I wanted something more plain and simple. We ended up getting the drift reactive grey dinnerware set from CB2. They have a very subtle pattern to them and I loved the raised edges on the plates to keep food from falling off.
If you can’t replace everything at once, I’d suggest just buying one new plate or small bowl to see how you like it and then go from there.

CERAMIC MUGS
There’s just something about holding a warm beverage and when that mug or cup is handmade and beautiful, it creates an even better experience. I’ve had my eye on a few mugs I’d love to drink my daily tea out of and need to pull the trigger on one soon.
My friend Sarah also has an awesome round up of coffee mugs from Etsy that are all oh so beautiful.

CERAMIC VASES
These are definitely my weak spot. I can’t resist a cute little handmade vase. It’s usually what I bring home when I travel somewhere new or happen upon a new shop. They’re so versatile and can be used in so many different ways. I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many.

CERAMIC LIGHTING
This isn’t as popular yet, but I could see it making a huge appearance in the next year. Of course being handmade and so fragile, you’d have to be careful where you use it but there are some gorgeous options out there right now.

WHERE TO BUY CERAMIC HOME DECOR
I’ve linked all the above for you but wanted to share some of my favorite places to shop for ceramics and pottery. Often times I’ll just search Etsy or browse Pinterest and see where that takes me. I follow some great shops on instagram as well.
A lot of larger stores are starting to have a larger selection of ceramics like Target, West Elm, CB2, Urban Outfitters etc. which can be more budget friendly, but I like to support small makers too.
FRECKLED POTTERY || LULA POTTERY || HUSKMILK POTTERY || SOFT EARTH || MUDDY HEART || CERAMIC PIX || BLANC POTTERY || MONA LISA POTTERY || MONA LISA POTTERY
I know there are so many amazing makers out there, so if you have a fav – tell me! Ceramic home decor has been around for a long time but I feel like it’s making a huge reappearance lately and I’m loving it. Hopefully this round up gave you some good ideas of how you can add it into your own home.
