I’m not a huge decorator of the seasons, but with a pretty new mantle to play with, I thought it deserved some love. I’ve also never been a huge fan of wreaths, but I love the more abstract and modern ones that I see floating around Pinterest and decided to create one myself. Plus you can’t go wrong with eucalyptus and feathers, right? I even created a fun little video to show you how easy it is!

I wanted to keep my mantle simple for fall and I still might add another vase of eucalyptus but these little wreaths bring in another touch of nature that I love. I might also make some more little pumpkin planters to throw up there.
Do you decorate for fall? Are you a big wreath person? I’d love to know!

I like the wood finishing. I am from the Caribbean so that is probably the attraction. Where did you get the wooden vase on your fireplace?

Hi Bre,
I love that you have used eucalyptus – I am an Australian living in London so these trees aren’t very common here but they catch my eye whenever I see them. I recently made a wreath using old sofa springs…I inherited the sofa from my grandmother in Australia and it is being reupholstered. I loved the industrial quality of the springs so didn’t want to throw them out. I have put it on my blog if you want to have a look. I used eucalyptus ALL over it. I think I went a little eucalyptus mad!!!
Cheerio Claire
PS. You have a very beautiful fireplace!
