Round Table Inspiration

Now that my sunburn from Miami is finally cooling down, I can move my body without being in pain and get back into some projects! I had such a great trip and am happy that the weather here is warming up into the 70s this weekend.

I got these two little tables a couple months back off craigslist for $15 total and they’ve been straight chillin’ on our front porch ever since. I love that they are completely blank slates and the possibilities are endless. With that being said, I needed some inspiration because my imagination was running wild all over the place.

I love the pastel colors of these and love the reverse dip. The bare exposed wood gives them a natural, clean look and I think these would be super cute with some little plants sitting on top!

I also love the stained look with a pop of color on the legs.

Basically the reverse of the picture above, using more color and leaving the wood exposed on the bottom of the legs.

I never would have thought of this but love it! Wrapping the legs in twine or rope and still incorporating a color dip. So cool.

I love how this table has a rim around the top and I’ve been trying to think of ways to add that to mine. I feel a trip to the Depot is in order!

I’m going to let some ideas mill around in my head for another day or two and probably wander aimlessly around the craft store for a while and see if anything jumps out at me 🙂 I’m so excited to be working on my first pair of tables and think these would be perfect as night stands in the bedroom or just little tables in the living room. I also kind of want to do some sort of pattern or stencil on the top, but have no idea what that might be yet, so stay tuned!

Hope you all are having a very happy hump day!

Can’t wait to see what you come up with! My favorites are the ones with the colour dipped tops and just a bit of the stained leg at the bottom. Something stenciled on top would look fab too!

Ah I’m so bad at making decisions! I sat in the paint aisle at A.C. Moore today for 20 minutes and just stared at them all! haha
